The Treacher Collins Family Support Group was set up in 1987 by a group of parents to meet the needs of families and individuals.
Aims Of The Group
To offer support and friendship to Treacher Collins families and individuals
To seek to gain greater knowledge and understanding of Treacher Collins Syndrome
To offer advice to families and individuals on various aspects of the syndrome
To help develop a clear policy on areas such as facial surgery, hearing aids and genetic counselling for Treacher Collins families and individuals
At Present
We are gathering information on the prevalence and variation of Treacher Collins Syndrome
We are publicising the existence of the Support Group
We are actively producing information aimed at both parents/individuals and professionals
